Who was the first person to complete a powered airplane flight in Australia? First to answer gets a sketch of their choice. I haven't made one of those lately and I miss it.
Well, I did say "first to complete" a flight. Crashing really doesn't count as completing a flight, which is what Defries did. I don't think I can give you the win for that!
Our French friend is correct. It was Harry Houdini. I'm currently reading The Secret Life of Harry Houdini, which is a great book. This trivia question was courtesy of that book. What do you want a sketch of, brain?
