Yeah, T. Boone is a strange guy. He denies global warming, still, and is quick to bash Gore and that movement. But, hey, his reasons don't really matter since his plan to get off oil is almost identical. I still think he's a bit of a douche, though.
And the video is just a way to introduce more natural gas vehicles so that we don't spend as much money on foreign oil. So we are just moving from one nonrenewable energy source to another. Why not electric cars, and then work on more renewable energy sources for the extra electricity? Again, T.Boone's only concern seems to be that we are spending money on foreign oil. He's just looking for a way to bring more of those profits back to him and his buddies.
Not that there is anything wrong with that. It's still helpful in the short term. I just have a feeling that he would be one of the ones impeding progress beyond that point.
