How many times have we posed the video editing software question? Seems like a lot. I think you're probably just going to have to get online and read some reviews. Then maybe pirate something off of isohunt or mininova and see if it's really going to work for you. When you find something you like, we'll look into student licenses or something before you get to the point of releasing anything.

I downloaded myself a version of Sony Vegas Pro, which is pretty sweet.
