Another cool guy dies.

Yankee great Phil Rizzuto died today at 89 years old. He was the oldest living hall of fame player and part of some of the greatest Yankee teams ever. He was on teams that went to 9 world series, and is considered one of the best fielders to ever play. After his playing days ended he moved to the broadcasting booth and became on of the most memorable Yankee announcers ever. Holy Cow!
I actually got to meet Mr. Rizzuto at a charity golf tournament I played in with my dad 3 or 4 years ago. Not much of a conversation there, but I got to shake his hand. I'm famous now! Anyways, he was a cool guy and had a lot of great stories to tell about those dominate Yankee teams. It's a sad day, but at least we still have Yogi.
