So, I'm moving again. I've taken a faculty position at a University in Rhode Island, so we're moving. Back to the East Coast... From California, the biggest (by some measure or other), most self-important state in the union, to the smallest.
Obviously, job wise this is pretty good. But it will be kind of sad moving from here. California is a hell of a place, and I work in one of the most beautiful places to do science. Southern California weather is hard to beat. And I have an awful lot of good friends here now. I'd probably live here forever, if I had a good job...
